Keep the heid

As a school we aim to promote positive mental health for all young people and member of staff. We aim to do this by creating a safe and welcoming environment for all who attend Ardrossan Academy and Winton Primary.

In addition to promoting positive metal health, we aim to recognise and respond to mental health issues. By developing and implementing practical, relevant and effective mental health policies and procedures we can promote a safe and stable environment for all. This can be seen in our policy below.

'Mental health is a state of wellbeing in which every individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of line, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.' (World Health Organisation)
